QidiPrint is used as the slicer for these printers, which can be downloaded here.
Setting up a 3D print job on Qidi Print
Choose your printer in settings.
For the Qidi 1 printers, select the left extruder to print out of.
Import an .stl file.
Use the scale and move tools to adjust your model.
Enter the parameters for the material you are using:
Use the following settings for PLA (if the setting is not specified below, leave it as the default value) and adjust as needed:
Layers:
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Infill:
Infill Density: 20%
Infill Pattern: Tri-hexagon
Additions:
Build Plate Adhesion Type:
Brim, if print has a small footprint
Skirt, if print has a large footprint
Skirt Line Count: 2
Skirt Distance: 4mm
Supports (if needed):
Support Placement: Everywhere
Support Pattern: Lines
Printing
Click "Prepare"
Double check that the object looks as it should via the layer preview.
Save file to a removable drive.
Put drive into printer.
Choose file and start the print.
Watch the first two layers to ensure that the print will continue successfully.
